Peace of Mind with VisitEngland Star Ratings

Most holiday accommodation in England is star rated by VisitEngland. We annually check that our standards are comparable with other British tourist boards to ensure that wherever you visit you receive the same facilities and services at any star rated accommodation.

All the accommodation on this site is annually checked by VisitEngland assessors and an on-site assessment is made every year. This means that when you see the Quality Rose marque promoting the star rating of the property you can be confident that we've checked it out.

The national standards used to assess accommodation are based on VisitEngland research of consumer expectations. The independent assessors decide the type (classification) of accommodation and award star ratings based on the quality of the service and accommodation offered. The Quality Rose marque helps you decide where to stay, giving you peace of mind that the accommodation has been thoroughly checked out before you check in.
